We are proud to celebrate Klein Cain Class of 2022 alumnus Krithik Vishwanath on his incredible accomplishments at the University of Texas at Austin! 👏
Krithik was recently featured by UT Austin after earning the prestigious Churchill Scholarship, a highly selective honor awarded to top STEM students nationwide, allowing them to continue their studies at the University of Cambridge. 
A triple major in computational engineering, chemistry, and mathematics, Krithik has also been involved in advanced research in computational oncology, making meaningful contributions to the field.

Congratulations to Saroj Kylas, Lucas Liu, Aaditya Singh, and Nathan Zhang for qualifying for the Technology Student Association (TSA) TEAMS National Competition!
The TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science) competition challenges students to apply their math, science, and engineering knowledge to solve real-world engineering problems through collaborative design, analysis, and problem-solving.

It was an exciting weekend for our Hurricanes with several teams and athletes delivering outstanding performances!
⚽ Boys Soccer clinched a playoff spot, continuing a strong season.
⛳ Boys Golf captured 1st Place at the Brazoswood Invitational at The Wilderness Golf Course, showcasing an impressive team performance.
🥇 Naila Ugho dominated in track and field, earning 1st Place in Discus with a huge throw of 163.6!
🥎 Varsity Softball secured an incredible win over Klein Forest, while JV Softball went 4–0 to win the NCISD Tournament!

We're thrilled to share that Bridging For Tomorrow (BFT) — a charity supporting families within our Klein community — selected seven of our students' art pieces for their annual "Plant a Seed" Gala at The Woodlands Country Club! 💜
The Impact: Four of those seven pieces were featured in the live auction, and together they raised nearly $10,000 to support families in need! 🙌

Congratulations to the Klein Cain Boys Golf Team on an outstanding performance this weekend at The Wilderness Golf Course! Competing against a strong field, the Hurricanes finished 1st Place Overall as a Team with a score of 607 (+19).
🏆 Individual Champion:
Joshua McGown earned 1st Place Overall, finishing with a 144 (+1) to lead the field.

We are proud to announce that the following Klein Cain students have advanced to Finalist standing in the National Merit® Scholarship Program:

🎷Klein Cain Jazz Band Takes the Stage! 🎷
Today our Klein Cain Jazz Band performed at the 6th Annual Texas Regional Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival, presented by Jazz Houston. This incredible event brings together high school jazz ensembles from across the region to perform, learn from expert clinicians, and participate in workshops and master classes with professional musicians.
💜Celebrating National School Social Work Week💜
In recognition of National School Social Work Week, we want to take a moment to celebrate Ms. Kimberly Milo for the incredible work she does to support the students and families at Klein Cain.
Ms. Milo is a compassionate listener and a trusted advocate for our students. Whether she is offering guidance during difficult moments, connecting families with important resources, or simply providing a safe space, she helps ensure that every student feels seen, supported, and valued.
Because of her dedication and care, our students are better equipped to focus on learning and succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Today we celebrate not only the work Ms. Milo does, but the heart and empathy she brings to Klein Cain every day. Thank you for your commitment to our students and community — you are truly appreciated! 💜

🎨 Congratulations to our Klein Cain artists advancing to State in the V.A.S.E. competition!
Last weekend Klein Cain students participated in the area 4 Visual Arts Scholastic Event (V.A.S.E.) with 1900 other students from the Houston area. Students worked for months on a variety of artworks from drawings to sculpture, turning their unique voice into a physical piece.
Students engaged in critical thinking and developed real life skills in round 1 where they had to critique and explain their artwork's process, skill, material, and visual elements to a judge. Students who scored high enough on the evaluation moved onto round 2. The top 8-10% best artworks were chosen from the 2nd round, and 11 of those works chosen were from Klein Cain students!
🎓 Caps & Counselors Celebration
Our PBIS team recently hosted Caps & Counselors, a special celebration highlighting the meaningful relationships between our counselors and seniors. During the event, counselors recognized one hardworking senior who has demonstrated dedication, perseverance, and growth throughout their high school journey.
In return, those seniors had the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the counselors who supported, guided, and encouraged them along the way.
This event reflected one of our Core Values—Collaboration—and honored the powerful partnership between students and counselors that helps our Hurricanes succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Thank you to our counselors and seniors for making this celebration so meaningful and memorable! 💙🌪️
