Klein ISD is proud to recognize Klein Cain High School principal Lauren Marti as the 2025 District Secondary Principal of the Year!
Affectionately known as “the real deal,” Ms. Marti is admired for her steadfast leadership. Her strategic vision and a deep commitment to student and teacher success make her a leader others look up to. Her ability to pair ambitious goals with thoughtful, data-driven strategies has led to remarkable progress on every campus she has led.
"Lauren Marti is a powerhouse leader who exemplifies what it means to be student-focused, results-driven, and collaborative,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. McGown said. “Her triple-A commitment to excellence in academics, arts, and athletics, combined with her ability to build relationships and support those around her, has made a positive impact on Klein Cain and throughout Klein ISD.”
Ms. Marti’s journey in Klein ISD began when she became an assistant principal at Hildebrandt Intermediate. Her passion and leadership quickly elevated her to campus principal, where she played a pivotal role in redesigning Hildebrandt’s modernization before moving on to Hofius Intermediate.
Her impact only grew when she became the principal of Klein Cain High School.
As a leader, Ms. Marti is the total package; those around her note that she is a champion for her students and fellow educators. She is instrumental in leading positive change and relentlessly pursues excellence, always putting students and staff first.
“I am incredibly honored to receive this recognition and am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve Klein ISD and the Klein Cain community! I love being able to do this work because I have the opportunity to help make students successful academically and to help them pursue all of their dreams after high school,” Marti said. “Thank you to the Klein Cain faculty, staff, students, and parents who make every day a joy!”
