Tyler Peyton – Klein Cain Valedictorian

Klein Cain Valedictorian Tyler Peyton is known amongst his peers as possessing unequaled leadership qualities. Throughout his time at Klein Cain, he has led by example on the soccer field, classroom, and community through his volunteer efforts.

“Tyler is an incredible human being; he is not only one of the hardest workers both in the classroom and on the soccer field, but he is one of the humblest people I have been around,” Klein Cain Boys Head Soccer Coach Donald Brunell said. “I wish him nothing but luck as he continues his incredible journey through life.”

The soccer field is where Tyler comes to life. He has served as the team captain of the Klein Cain Junior Varsity soccer team and volunteered his time during the summer at the Klein Cain soccer camp for incoming students. Soccer has been a significant part of Tyler’s life for as long as he can remember. In addition to being JV team captain, he has served as a youth soccer coach for the Challenge Soccer Club. He has been awarded the Hurricane Character Award, All-District Honorable Mention, and Defensive MVP for the Klein Cain Men’s Soccer Team.

“During my time as a Klein ISD student, I have been blessed with many amazing teachers,” Tyler said. “These teachers have a clear passion for teaching and truly want to see their students succeed. They have inspired me to have a positive attitude in everything I do, and I am grateful for their impact on my life.”

Tyler focuses on academics and volunteering during his time away from the field. He is a Commended National Merit Scholar with a true servant’s heart, willing to lend a hand whenever needed. Tyler has volunteered his time at the Abandoned Animal Rescue, Klein Cain Soccer Camp, Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts, and as a delivery driver for Meals on Wheels. 

After high school, Tyler plans to attend Texas A&M University to study Aerospace Engineering.
