Klein, TX Community Unites for Fantastic First Week in Klein ISD

KLEIN, TX - The excitement is palpable as the new 2023-2024 school year kicks off in Klein ISD, and our commitment to excellence and innovation in education is as strong as ever.

This year began with a flurry of activity characterized by the heartwarming smiles of students and the dedicated efforts of our Klein Family. From our outstanding volunteers for Bus Buddies, who assist young learners in finding their way, to the vigilant crossing guards who ensure our learners are safe on their journeys to and from school, the Klein community is once again united in its mission to provide every student an excellent education.

A highlight of this new school year is the new state-of-the-art Klein ISD Flex School—the temporary home this school year of our Northampton Colts as their 50+-year-old campus sees significant renovations as part of our 2022 Bond building program, a testament to our ongoing commitment to modernizing and enhancing our facilities. The renovation would not have been possible without the overwhelming support from our Klein Family, who made the 2022 Bond a reality. 

“Every year, the start of schools shines a light on the many folks who come together to create a learning environment that is engaging and supportive for our students,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “I am so thankful for our phenomenal educators who inspire and guide our kids, the loving parents and families who entrust us with their children’s education, the selfless volunteers who contribute their time and energy, our dedicated police department that ensures our campuses are secure, and of course, our exceptional students whose curiosity and passion make every school year memorable. I am looking forward to our Klein Family building on this positive momentum all year long!”
