81 Student-Athletes Take Part in National Signing Day Festivities
In Klein ISD, National Signing Day is an occasion filled with cheer and celebration.
This year, 81 student-athletes signed letters of intent for the colleges of their choice, many with high-dollar scholarships attached.
“Signing Day is proof that these outstanding student-athletes are immensely dedicated to their sport and their academic success,” Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “The steadfast commitment of our kids, coaches, and parents continues to strengthen Klein ISD’s tradition of excellence in athletics. Congratulations to these deserving student-athletes, and good luck as you pursue your purpose in the next chapter!”
Brandon Baker, Klein ISD’s Executive Director of Athletics & Student Support Services, knows firsthand the devotion that our students and coaches put forth for this moment.
“We take great pride in the accomplishments of our student-athletes who are preparing to compete at the next level,” Baker said. “Their unwavering commitment to both their sport and academics is remarkable, and it shines brightly on National Signing Day. The time, effort, and true support of our athletic coaches and Klein ISD families is something our kids thrive from, and we are grateful for the people who put their all into ensuring our student-athletes succeed. We are so proud of them and wish them the best!”
