PSAT Testing

PSAT/NMSQT stands for Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. It's a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT Test. It also gives students a chance to enter National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) scholarship programs when they take it in their junior year. The PSAT/NMSQT measures critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills, and writing skills. You have developed these skills over many years, both in and out of school. This test does not require you to recall specific facts from your classes. All 9th, 10th, and 11th grade Klein Cain students will take the PSAT test. Pick up the Official Student Guide to the PSAT/NMSQT from your guidance office.

On Wednesday, October 25, 2022, the PSAT is offered, free of charge, to all 9th, 10th and 11th grade Klein Cain students.
